Kohn Contracting Corporation

I highly recommend Kohn Contracting Corporation! We had a stressful moisture issue in our basement, and Eric was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He took the time to thoroughly investigate the problem, explain what was happening, and walk us through the best way to address it. He was knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about getting the job done right. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to identify the source of the moisture rather than just treating the symptoms. He gave us peace of mind during an already stressful situation, and we really appreciated his honesty and dedication. If you’re dealing with a basement moisture or waterproofing issue, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eric and Kohn Contracting!

Eric ensured my insurance company pay the portion they should have payed to ensure the roof was fully repaired. Appreciate his support and patience with the process.

This was a repair job for my bathroom after the plumbing company came in and removed sections of the floor. The carpenters came in and went above and beyond the scope of work. They reworked and re-routed some of the plumbing, laid new subfloor and flooring. Installed the toilet and cabinet sink. I would highly recommend them. Honest and upfront on details of the job from start to finish.

Kohn Contracting did an outstanding job replacing our shed roof and house siding repairs resulting from the July 2026 severe weather/tornado in Pasadena. His communication was outstanding from start to finish and the work was impeccable. Highly recommend!!

Kohn managed the proposal process and worked with the insurance company to expedite the repair on the siding due to hail damage. The siding crew was very efficient and professional keeping a clean jobsite finishing the project early.

Wow! Our experience with Kohn Contracting Corporation was outstanding. Eric Kohn discussed multiple options for the repair or replacement of our front balcony and railing system. His proposal was impressive and helped us to make the best decision. Ultimately, we chose to upgrade the balcony by replacing the original 22 year old wood railing with a low-maintenance railing system, a new roof deck, a 2-ply SBS waterproofing system, and new flashing integrated into the masonry. Eric also sealed the arched window above the balcony. We are so happy with the final result. These improvements should provide a durable, long-lasting roofing and railing system which adds modern beauty and protects the structure for many years to come. Thank you Eric and Tyler for a wonderful experience and a beautiful addition to our home!

Working with Eric and his crew was effortless. They replaced facia board and seamless gutter after a very wet snow removed the original gutter, which had not been installed correctly and Eric picked up on that immediately. Repairs were performed on time (or before expected arrival) and within a very reasonable budget. All-in-all a great experience. Very happy to support MD small business owners.
